Recently I had Laser Assisted Cataract surgery at Rivergate location on right eye and then left eye. Dr. Terrence Doherty did my surgeries. He was so good explaining the entire process and answering my questions. He and his entire team are wonderful! Everyone at Loden were very helpful and made you feel comfortable. Loden vision near Rivergate is close to where I live and I love going there to have my eyes check. The facility is very nice and comfortable and the staff is phenomenal. I had two cataract surgeries about 5 years ago and everything went well. All the doctors I have seen are very nice, and informative when I ask all my questions. I just wanted to thank the wonderful staff at Loden Vision Center for changing my life. I have been wearing glasses since the third grade then onto contacts/glasses. I am nearsighted with an astigmatism in both eyes. I live in Knoxville and was scheduled to have lasik surgery only to find out my corneas were to thin. My doctor referred me to Dr. Loden I called the office and spoke to Laurel she was so wonderful and helped me get everything scheduled even a hotel close by with special rates. I had a refractive lensectomy on April 19, 2016 and on April 20, 2016 I was seeing 20/20 for the first time in my life without glasses. I am so pleased with the results, and would like to say Thank you again Dr. Loden.

Excellence is the hallmark of Loden Vision Centers in eye care, eye treatment and in cutting-edge eye surgery, not only in Nashville, but nationally. Dr. James Loden and his staff of physicians and other eye care specialists, provide a standard of care that is unsurpassed, in my opinion. Patients are always treated with respect, in a friendly manner. The new Loden Vision Centers location on Rivergate Parkway is an amazing state of the art facility, beautiful, comfortable and spacious. Hands down the best experience I could have ever asked for. My vision was absolutely horrible and effecting my work. Now I have 20/15 vision (better than perfect) and I couldnt be happier or more amazed at what I have been missing out on all these years. The entire staff is a group of exceptional professionals. Dr. Loden and his team truly changed my life and I am forever grateful.

This review is about 1.5 years past due....Anyway, Loden Vision is a wonderful and safe place to get iLasik eye surgery. My vision is still 20/15, 1.5 years after the surgery! That is better than 20/20 if you dont know eye lingo. brMy vision wasnt horrible to start with. I never had success with contacts and I was constantly losing my glasses and people were having to read distant menu boards for me. I decided to bite the bullet and get the procedure done. brIt is a multi-step process. You first get evaluated to see if you are a candidate for iLasik. I think you go in a second time for some sort of eye tests, my memory is a bit foggy on that one...but not my eyes:). Lastly, you go in for the procedure. It was really scary to me. Once I was in the room where Dr. Loden does the surgery, I was thinking, WTF am I doing here?! brThere is a machine that holds your eye open and then a laser cuts the flap and Dr. Loden does his magic. My vision goes gray and he says that I will start seeing a pulsing light and I DID! Woot! For a minute there, I thought I was blind in one eye for life. Then they do it to the next eye. brAfter that, my husband drives me home. I take the prescribed Ambien and go to sleep. I never take medicine. So after several hours I wake up and order 7 different Groupons ranging from Comedy shows to B12 injections. I say the Ambien made me do it:). brMy vision was great after that and it is still great! It was expensive, but I definitely recommend.
