Recently I had Laser Assisted Cataract surgery at Rivergate location on right eye and then left eye. Dr. Terrence Doherty did my surgeries. He was so good explaining the entire process and answering my questions. He and his entire team are wonderful! Everyone at Loden were very helpful and made you feel comfortable. Loden vision near Rivergate is close to where I live and I love going there to have my eyes check. The facility is very nice and comfortable and the staff is phenomenal. I had two cataract surgeries about 5 years ago and everything went well. All the doctors I have seen are very nice, and informative when I ask all my questions. Abby May and the staff at the Loden in Smyrna are absolutely wonderful. I never feel like a number to them. They listen to any concerns I have and are very accommodating for allergies to fragrances. Having an eye exam feels just like visiting friends!

The people who checked me in, the tech, the Dr., everyone was super pleasant and did their job exceptionally well, but can we talk about the wait time and how long the appointment took, is this normal these days? I feel like it takes forever just to get through an appointment. My appointment was at 1 PM, I get there at 12:45, It takes about 20 minutes to check in, and I wasnt pulled back until about 1:30. They had me go through a series of tests, going into different rooms for different things, and then finally was seen by the doctor and by the time I got out, ordered new contacts, paid my copay, scheduled another year check up, it was after 2:45 so the entire process took a little over 2 hours. Maybe Im just not used to the normalcy of it taking so long I need to bring a snack with me next time.
