Iwaz Barwari, PA-C

Iwaz Barwari, PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant, completing her studies in 2007 at Trevecca Nazarene University earning her Masters of Science in Medicine degree.

She completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Middle Tennessee State University in 2003. She is a member of the Tennessee Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistant.

Before returning to Nashville, Iwaz ran the concussion clinic at Texas Health Sports Medicine Center in Plano, TX. Iwaz is a native Nashvillian and returned to her hometown in 2018 to join Loden Vision Centers.

Since joining Loden Vision Center, Iwaz has been assisting with cataract surgery, seeing post-ops patients, and has taken interest in treating dry eyes.

Iwaz is fluent in Kurdish, enjoys listening to podcasts, cooking, and exercising. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters.
