Cataract Surgery Cost

Using Medicare and Insurance for Cataract Surgery

To help cover the cost of cataract surgery, Loden Vision Centers is pleased to accept Medicare and most insurance plans. Medicare typically covers the cost of a traditional cataract procedure and a standard intraocular lens (IOL).

Cost of Advanced Cataract Surgery

For patients who want to experience increased freedom and better vision, we offer many options, including lifestyle lenses and laser cataract surgery. If you have a premium cataract surgery procedure with a Lifestyle Lens, you will typically be responsible for the additional cost. Many patients find that the benefits from having an advanced cataract procedure make the added costs well worth it.

If the cost of cataract surgery or advanced lifestyle lenses is a barrier to getting clear vision then we want to help by offering a few financing options.

We have two main solutions:

Alphaeon | CareCredit

Alphaeon

Alphaeon works like a credit card and offers you a variety of flexible options to pay for your cataract surgery. With special financing options – not always available with other credit cards, you may find the ALPHAEON CREDIT card is the better way to pay.

CareCredit

Loden Vision also offers the CareCredit® card, North America’s leading patient payment program. CareCredit lets you begin your procedure immediately, then pay for it over time with low monthly payments that fit easily into your monthly budget. Now you don’t have to save up for years to finally get the vision you’ve always wanted.

Our cataract surgery counselors will be happy to sit down with you to discuss these financing options and help guide you through the process of applying.
