Recently I had Laser Assisted Cataract surgery at Rivergate location on right eye and then left eye. Dr. Terrence Doherty did my surgeries. He was so good explaining the entire process and answering my questions. He and his entire team are wonderful! Everyone at Loden were very helpful and made you feel comfortable. Loden vision near Rivergate is close to where I live and I love going there to have my eyes check. The facility is very nice and comfortable and the staff is phenomenal. I had two cataract surgeries about 5 years ago and everything went well. All the doctors I have seen are very nice, and informative when I ask all my questions. I am 24 hours post op after LASIK and I am already having such great results already! Dr. James Loden did my surgery, but I believe I have also worked with Dr. Katie Mills for my consultation, Dr. James Judd for my pre op appointment, and Dr. Bernard Tekiele for my 24 hours post op appointment to check on my progress. They were all wonderful, kind, and patiently answered all my questions and reassured me when necessary. All of the staff answered my questions and reassured me before, during, and after my procedure as well.My prescription wasnt very severe, but my astigmatism on my left eye was much worse than my right eye, making it difficult to see and making headaches/migraines common. I can already see such a difference in my vision - literally - and they told me my eyes arent even fully healed yet. At my 24 hours post op appointment they said I was ahead of schedule in the healing process and it should peak at day 5.For anybody who is scared of the procedure, it is very nerve wracking but it is so worth it!! I felt absolutely no pain during the procedure, just mild discomfort at times that was definitely what I would consider an annoyance more than painful. They give you some medication prior to the procedure to help with inflammation and nerves, I didnt need to take anything else when I got back to the hotel and slept for 4-5 hours after the procedure like they recommended. I felt up to getting a meal and everything after with minimal discomfort. My only side effects are dry eyes and mild haziness at this point.It was a scary procedure, the anticipation was worse than the procedure itself. And as a bonus, they had a deal with Ray Bans and I got a free pair of ray bans at my 24 hours post op appointment! I cant recommend Loden Vision Centers and all of the doctors and staff enough! 5/5 stars!!

Dr. Loden is a true professional. He did my LASIK surgery and everything went absolutely perfectly. If you are looking for the right person to do this for you, look no further.
