I went to an eye doctor in Sumner county 3 years ago because i thought i had a cataract in my right eye. I was told i just needed new glasses so i paid almost 1400.00 for new glasses. I picked them up and still couldn't see. He ran more test and told me that my refractory nerve had died and nothing could be done. Then a couple months ago the left eye started going bad so a couple weeks ago i went to an eye doctor in Lebanon. After that exam he told me I had a retinal detachment and sent to retinal specialist for emergency surgery the next day. I was told there i had cataracts and needed surgery so i called Loden vision. For 3 years i lost ability to drive and vision was so bad all i could think about was not going to be able to watch my 6 grandchildren grow and change. I went for my appointment and they said same thing as retina specialist. A few days later my right eye was done and i can't tell you how much i cried and how excited I was to be able to see and read. My vision is better than it has ever been. I actually see better without my glasses that i have worn since 5th grade and i am 61 now. My left eye is going to be done on the 18th.. I can't say enough about all the staff and Dr Loden. Everyone i have come into contact with is extremely professional, sweet and funny. Made me feel so comfortable. I just want to thank everyone for the care given and giving me back my life. Heart felt gratitude to everyone. See you soon and God bless all of you. Sharon Whiting.
